Man you guys are real downers. Nothing like telling someone, they bought the wrong saw! Or are you just trying to sell me another saw?

Awe man, please don't take it that way. That was not the intent at all, at least on my part. I apologize if I came across that way. That 390 is a keeper built by a man who knows his trade and I would be proud to own it.

You didn't get the wrong saw. Trust me. Every saw has its purpose. You definatly don't want to lug a 394 around all day. There big and heavy! If your plans are to run a 3ft+ bar all day maybe but it's gonna be hard to beat the 390xp in all aspects of daily use except maybe milling!

Yep. I agree. Bucking firewood a 385/390 is plenty.

Everyone needs a 385, 390, 394, and 395. Maybe a 880 and 3120 as well.
I want a big big toy but not sure what yet. I want something just to put a stupid long bar on for show. Lmao. Need something more off the wall than an 880 or 3210 though. But big and can run like those.

166, 125/797, or a big 2100 homelite. 995G homelite will pull 72" of bar buried no problems. Just don't stand behind it if it binds.
