I think as long as gas is fresh and mixed 40:1 or richer with air cooled rated 2 cycle not outboard oil and tuned properly it's all good imo.


I'd agree, but then you've got Scott saying that the Schaeffer's outboard oil is good stuff. And rumor has it, he's put a few gallons of mix through a saw or two...

Hey I've never tried it before so who am I to say. Heck I gave walmart oil a try and it was good. Can't learn if you don't try it.

The Schaeffer's I'm familiar with is good stuff.

I've not tried the 2-Smoke Oil.
