Been a day or two since I've posted up a build thread. I plan have a YouTube video of this too.
This is a build I agreed to last fall, an "044/440" build off. They get run in a few days, figure I will try and get it done.
I'm sticking with the 50mm D chamber, doing a piston swap, will get some finger ports and an Egan foam filter. Might try some carb mods too.
Supposed to be a "worksaw" build so I am not going super crazy....
Silly thing actually put up some pretty good baseline numbers.
New piston on the right, single ring, center pin, allows some good port width.
Squishband cut to match the angle on the piston, about .050" removed.
Dome was going to get way too friendly with the spark plug.
