Chestnut from today. Used the 7900. Timed one cut at the middle of the log. 15" wide and 62" long was 2 minutes and 25 seconds.

I hope it doesn't bust to pieces. It's already got 2 small cracks in it. Might end up with bow ties in it.

True. Some cherry or walnut would really look good in there I think.

These were about 7'. The deep crusty snow slowed us down pretty good today. We had to tread lightly so we didn't sink.

I Love me some inlays!!!! This is a 14' x 38" wide figured Walnut table with about 30 inlays of oak leaves, acorns, turkey tracks, deer tracks, and pintail ducks. The legs are burl slabs that I timberframe joined and everything was chainsaw milled and live-edged. It was commissioned for a buddy of mine's hunting lodge dining area!

Thanks for the kind words........Yeah I wasnt very excited about doing all that work and using a laquer for finish, but ya got to please the customer!
