Thanks. Have you seen the HLS one to compare at all?

I personally wouldn't. I had a piece break which was replaced under warranty but the new MK4 is billet. Granberg customer service was great. Shipped the new part with a few emails.

Jeff, I have a pic of the break somewhere. If I find it I'll share. It was a know casting flaw but the design is a weak spot so they went billet.

Here is the new MK4 ends.

And the mk3 that I broke. Like mentioned, it was a known casting flaw. Many broke hence the change. I work on motorcycles and case covers get torqued to 10 ftlbs, so I know what that torque spec feels like.


Also, to anyone using one, put some antisieze on the U-bolt threads. You'll thank me later.

Yep, lots of factors.

Yes It does but a lot of my wide 2” thick stuff is down to 12% up here in about a year and a half, maybe a little less
