I can not sleep because of my damn kidney stone! So i have question, I am a german airborn veteran myself (8 years of service) are there any people here who served in germany? Baumholder, grafenwohr, rammstein or kaiserlautern?

I’m not there but have many friends that have served in the USAF at Ramstein.

Landed in Ramstein many, many yrs ago...had an IFE (In-Flight Emergency; #3 engine failure) on a C-17, was there long enough to disembark one C-17, load into another and continue back to the states.

Get over that kidney stone...never had one but I hear they ain't much fun!

Lived in a tiny town of Allfeld. Used to eat at The Gotz Castle.

I had a TDY (temporary duty) for a week to Rammstein AB in 1998. I loved what I saw of it. I have German ancestry and would love to get back there someday.

She has visited twice.

I've pulled two "REFORGER"'s there while stationed elsewhere. Sure beat the heck outa the two "Team Spirit"'s I pulled in Korea

Bounced through several times on my way to and from deployments (3 Iraq/1 Afghan). Didn’t see much of anything outside of Rammstein.

Grandparents were Holocaust survivors, German Jews. Met in the camps and survived 3 different facilities.
