Hello, I'm new here! Rather an old member returns😁I stopped logging a long time ago(try some random jobs), but I'll have to come back again! So,I found perfect machines for me - 400 gen 1 and 2!Dont get me wrong, I am not against progress, on the contrary, but I have the most faith in myself, so directly to the question - is it possible about gen1 and 2 to became manual carb one?For gen one i can find a lot broken 362 and 462,for gen 2 i know the guy who want to get rig of his ms363... So can be done?

Welcome back!! If you are talking about converting a mTronic saw to manual carb, it should be possible. I know that other mTronics like the 261 can be done, you just have to change out the flywheel, wiring harness and carburetor.

You can go both ways, turning an mTronic to manual carb and turning manual carb to mTronic...just takes parts.

Isn’t the Stihl MS363 a carbed 400?

Believe there was a thread on AS about getting them imported

Don’t smack my peepee mods!
