I may take a look at buying some of these now that a couple of folks here have used them and have vouched for them. I've seen them many times on the Bay but never took the plunge...might just snag a few.

I have one on my 261 for a little over a year now. I bought it specifically cause I am a saw abuser and it is just a tool for me.
Probably have about 40 hours on it since putting it on. My reasoning was that this saw does get tossed around a lot, back of pickup, back of trailer and back of my teryx 4 wheeler. Does it help, yeah probably...but you have to get it for the coolness factor! Mine fits snug and always has, 2 bolts in the front holding it. No wear marks or vibration marks that I can tell.

They are very light, I have one on a 660 that doesn't get much love when it comes to riding in the gator or caterpillar.

I take care of my stuff, but that thing ain't riding on the seat!!
It was put on a few years ago after the bottom of the saw was pretty beat. I figured it might help keep it from getting worse??

Again, very light and fits tight!!
