I second the cannon, the old general bars are good if you can find one. How long of a bar are you looking for?

I've been looking at some big bars, any recommendations?

Like Lee and Nathan said - Cannon, or vintage General bars if you can find one. Vintage Cannons are the best. You can see the layering of cold-rolled steel in them.

Old Oregon Pro bars from the 80's are good too. Somewhere I've got a small mount (SP-80) 32" Oregon Pro bar and it is very stout.

If your looking for new @Definitive Dave can get new Cannon bars. Not sure on
how long the wait time is but it doesn't hurt to ask him. I have a few new ones
and they are a saweeeeet bar.

I like all but that GB bar on the end. The rails are hard, but the profile needs more belly. If you ever have the chain pull away from a pencil profile long bar, you will understand.
The gb was a gift, was going to run it on the 090g, figured the slower chain speed would be fine

Understand. Some nice roller nose bars there! I'm not real savvy with the 075/076 saws but as soon as I rebuild the 075 I have I'm hoping to run it against my sp125. Pretty sure I know what the outcome will be but I still want to see for myself.

Also willing to let you try some bars if you’re in the area
