While I like my 421, my 5100s is much more fun to play with. I have no doubt it would pull a 24" well. It's roughly the same size. It is somewhat heavier but it's also wearing a 20" 3/8 bar compared to a 18" .325. However both are light weight bars.

Just trying to stoke your CAD. ;)image.jpg image.jpg

The PS-5100 looks quite slimmer!?
I wouldn't have expected that.

I passed the opportunity to get a NIB PS-5105C recently, I was afraid I wouldn't use her as my 40cc's barely ever see any playtime.

Nice pictures.

Well I can not share what will happen exactly if the saw needs warranty work. But I know I am covered as long as I didn't cause it.

This saw really wakes up being callers.

Maybe two mufflers should be a good plan of action for the extreme emergency when your doing that fast smooth LIMBING with the 421 and flying debris damages said muffler :)

LOL yes that helps as well.

Yes I have 2 tanks through it yesterday. It is a nice little saw. I see a lot of oak and hickory in its future. In fact as soon as I get caught up in have 3 trees to process.

Good noodling performance!

My 40cc's are worthless for noodling, the noodles immediately get stuck under the clutch cover bogging down the saw.

Impressive little machine that PS-421! :)
