My 394 I'm building now was kind of a horse-trade deal... I overhauled two saws for a local tree service. Got my blown 394 project as payment in leau of the $250 they were offering me for my labor.

It's still a work in progress and I'm waiting for parts I ordered that should just about finish it up. It's going to be ported and machined jointly by Scarr Engineering and J&J Braapp Shack. Got the cylinder back last week...

It's dead again lol Here is a rare one i had a nos 600 professional that was stolen five years ago this is a 54cc 540i i built into a 60cc the 600p had black plastic top covers was the only difference excellent saws light torquey but horrible coils this coil died today while i was tuning it and it was my last one i will try to find an alternative to keep these going note the sparkplug placement.

That coil sure looks an awful lot like a regular stihl one.

I've tried a few might be able to elongate the holes it's odd sized for a 60cc saw.

Getting there...waiting on a new carb and have a bit more grinding to do.

I got this one in trade for some labor. The piston was cooked from running very old fuel mixed with bar oil.
A new piston, crank seals, a carb/boot upgrade, a few other mods, and this thing is ready to cut.

Got this Rancher for $20.00 with a hole in the fuel line and a scored top end. Had a used top end on a crush victim so played the old switcheroo. New fuel line and she is a runner, although compression is just a tad on the weak side. Will get a new Meteor piston coming.

Stihl make better anchors because they sit upright. Everyone knows Huskys lay on their side, messes up the angle on the rope.

Got this one for free, $20 plus a bunch of elbow grease later, she is back to running like a champ. I just love these old tanks.
