Shipping was 10.00 for me, still cheaper then the drive there, but I would love to get together some time with you guys, his 064 is a thing of beauty.
Yep and he inspired me to do mine!

How about a 372XT that swallowed and puked all the "balls" from the PTO bearing.....talk about having balls! Got new bearings/seals and top end. Since it was scrap...its value was under $100 bucks. New top end.. $125, New Bearings & Seals $30 so under $300...yet again.

My 359. I bought it as an incomplete powerhead that needed alot of TLC and was missing some random parts including the carb. I did a full overhaul from crank bearings on up and was able to salvage the cylinder and put a new Meteor slug in it. I scrounged up the remaining parts and bits of hardware I needed and all said and done I believe I have about $250 into the thing including the initial purchase price..

It's not "minty" by any means. But it's a good solid runner with an 18" 3/8 combo on it. Only mods are BG delete and lower transfer massaging. I even left the muffler bone stock.

Before and after pics. :) The before pic is exactly as it was when I first got it.

Picked this guy up for $80 today. I was at a local shop to pick up a new to me just traded in push mower. So while I was there I ask the guy if he's got any saws. He pulls out this echo cs-590 and says "it starts but won't stay running haven't had time to mess with it $100 and it's yours.

I only had $80 left after buying the mower he took it. Got it home put fresh (blue)fuel in it and tuned the carb. and away we go runs like new cleaned up like new too. 20170318_161323.jpg 20170318_161335.jpg

Some Ebay purchases over the last few months, always liked this series of Poulan saws, just finished going through the 3.3 black Sears, pretty surprised at the difference with just a base gasket delete and MM on this one, the black Sears was actually a trade deal, so after all said and done I have 35. in it, the others were between 75. and 100., still need to do the same mods on the 335, 3100 and a not pictured 2800, great running well built light saws....:)s-l1600 (103).jpg s-l1600 (98).jpg s-l1600 (107).jpg

Here's another I forgot about, a free-be 590 Echo, came from our rental where I used to work, was low on compression and they didn't want to fix it and they gave it to me, was able to save the cylinder and bought a new piston assy for it, total of about 60. bucks in this one, here it is after cutting up some dead ash trees.....:)IMAG0150.JPG IMAG0151.JPG
