I worked on my husqvarna 66 today, reinstalled the cylinder after cutting the base. Replaced all the a\v mounts with the new hard ones. Modded the muffler by removing the internal baffle and opening the exit deflecter out and adding spark screen. She runs better, sounds a whole lot meaner and blows 183psi on the gauge with old rings.20160315_163752.jpg

It is all hollow inside like a 346xp muffler. It was a job to get the baffle out of the middle. I used a burr bit with a long shank welded on it, next time I will just cut the seam open and tig weld it back when done. I opened the exit up a little and added the screen. It has a great ring to it like a 390xp. I am happy with how it turned out. Next is the 272xp top end and velocity stack.
