By brother scuffed the port up a little but you can see he stopped well short of messing with port timing, there's not a bevel I can see to help the rings
Pretty typical of ks cylinders ive seen it seems like. Damn near perfect casting and just the slightest rounding of the port edge, not a real bevel like seen on other brand cylinders. I think 026 is 44mm? So it seems like this must be a 024 jug
If im correct on this its been a while.
On an 024s they were 026 cranks with 42 mm cylinders. You can put a 026 44mm and 44.7 jug and slug. But i do know for a fact you can not put a 026 jug and slug on a 024 due to shorter stroke There was also an open port 42 mm cylinder as well
I'm guessing the prominent "S" is for super. And it looks to me like the combustion chamber you have could be a little bit smaller.
Do 024 supers and 026 share the same crankcase?
Cranks cases nearly the same. The 024 usually front chain tensioner and one bar stud with a stud eliminator in the other hole. Not so for the o26 case.
You can cut the two top rear fins off, and bolt a 44mm 026 P&C on it.
