Good job on that thin muffler. I hate welding on them if there's not a deflector to absorb some of the heat.

Braised "brass" welded together.
I have used a mig in the past, however,braising doesn't leave any spatter on the inside.
Most mufflers I do, I generally take out the baffle, by removing the deflector and cutting it out through there.
This one I tried something different, it's about the same time wise, but my original way is a neater finish.
Some matt black wood heater paint finishes it off.
