I think I’d like to try a 70e. Nah, bigger..what would be the last metal 80-90cc?

Novice lumberjack is looking for the owner of a stolen jonsered similar to a 2165.

I also went through this 621 this week. It was pretty rough when it came in.

I like to start by giving everything a good scrub and inspection.

I discovered there was a leak at the joint between the cylinder and crankcase so I removed the gasket and put it together with Threebond. The carburetor also needed a little cleaning, the air filters on these were nothing more than a brass screen.

The saw now starts, runs, idles, and oils. I will be looking for a clutch or clutch spring as the idle speed needs to be so low (to keep the chain from moving) that the engine will stall at times.

I don't really need three of these (two are in the display already) so I'll either keep it for a GTG saw or sell it if anyone would like one.

I may have a 621 clutch for you I’ll take a look this weekend.

I'm a couple of week late in reporting back...I looked through my 621 parts in the attic and did not find another flywheel cover, sorry.

Speaking of 621's a local fellow brough this one in yesterday, said it had been setting for a while and would not start.

This might explain it.

I was fortunate to find this 70e this week.
Pictures are “as found condition”.
Original owner took meticulous care of it and I’m going to keep it that way.
