You can put a 2055 cylinder on it but you will have a hard time finding one. I've got one here that's missing parts of the top fins but its still servicable. The 2055 took the place of the 2051 and its a little screamer, it runs about 14.5 I think. You can put a 590 or a Husky 55cp windowed piston in a 2055 unlike the solid piston in the 2054.

If it needs seals I've got NOS seals for the flywheel side and you can use a Husky 460 seal on the PTO side. The flywheel side seals are NLA.

Thank you for the offer. I'll let you know when I get into it. I have a 12mm 044 to finish, then a dolmar 7910, then hopefully this 2054. And try to squeeze a hot 2165 ready for reassembly in the mix. Maybe I need less projects.....

Gotta be careful here and not order the wrong one. :)

There are 2 different size pistons. Original 2054 used part number 503 608 171, which happens to be the 55 Rancher piston. Later 2054 "EPA" used a smaller 44mm piston; 503 899 671. That piston was also used in the Husky 351 and early 350. Plenty of AM options for both of them.

Hey you guys.
Dumb question. Is the coil to fly wheel gap on 2095 same as all others?

Friend is having troubles. I fixed it once then he says it
is eating coils.
I got him an old new parts saw and he has tried switch, coil, but not the flywheel yet (diken around).

No spark it's down to the flywheel is my thought.

I think I know the answer, was just brainstorming in my mind what a failing flywheel acts like.

I bet after a flywheel change all will be well.

When the saw was here I disconnected kill switch, no change. Changed coil, bingo it ran.
He ran it a short while and then no spark.
New cheap coil, same thing.
Another coil, no spark.

Until he changes the flywheel or brings it here, I'm blocking it out of mind.

He told me on phone
HIM, But it never did that before and flywheel was never off.
ME, you sound like a girl lol

edit And yes, I get lost and post in the wrong places.

I have this wrap handle I’m trying to figure out what model it’s for. I believe it’s for a Jonsered. I don’t think it takes a spacer block. The one on it is for a 266. And it doesn’t fit it. Just using it to help me get it bent back into shape. The repair is covering the rest of the part number. Thanks for the help.AB03EEB4-8B6F-4288-8805-636518FF8C85.jpeg8098C3BF-EF46-4650-A342-DCAEA7200B4E.jpegEC98D89A-C014-49EF-AB73-C7493E7C72A2.jpeg

A guess.
It looks like one for a 281 288 series saw.

Pull the spacer and we can maybe see the rest of the part number.
It’s not blocking any of the part numbers. The repair weld covers it.

The one on the right is an OEM wrap matching the part number you listed. Verbatim.
The one on the left is smaller. It could be for a 288? But I don’t think you could get the clutch cover on responsibly.519FB21D-34E0-4A9E-828D-519B70CE25C9.jpeg

I think the one the OP posted has been tweaked quite bit to fit something else.

Just guessing anyway.

For whatever it's worth, the old 181-style oem full wrap my brother's 281 wore was tiny on the saw and pretty awkward, the later oem 288 full wrap I had was noticeably larger, much like what your picture shows.

Appreciate the information. I’ve got a couple 288’s. I’m gonna see how it fits.
If I lay it on top of a 266 wrap. The circumstances is almost identical. That’s why I was posing the question. Thank you everyone for all the help.

I mounted it. And there’s not enough room to get the clutch cover on.B10DF666-69BC-4097-B5FD-E015FC12EBB8.jpeg

Yeah, as I recall there was a very fancy process involving aligning the front bar stud with the matching hole and prying on the cover. I'm not saying someone didn't mount a 266 wrap on a 181, but it kinda halfway worked. It was enough of a pain that I sourced a Pro Safety handle and just installed that.
