Twenty two year old 2065 from a tree service.

It pumped 155 with good spark so we dove into it. Overhaul the starter and lube the clutch drum bearing.

Hours spent detail cleaning.

Chain adjuster had jumped ship is what relegated him to the storage shed.

24” was only game in town.

Choke handle and chain catcher will put him back in the lineup.

Might spring on a little one in a week or two. It's got a steel heavy wire chain brake flag, and is a magnesium case. Not sure of the model, but it seems well built. Can't be over 50 cc. Bar and chain missing. I may meed help identifying. Want to bring this one and a green and yellow Echo home, but had yellow stuff that took precedence.

Metal flag makes me think of my 451s.

Does anybody know if the pistons for a 2055 are NLA? I know I can get them overseas but they are hard to find in the US. Thinking about porting at least one. @Spike60

Pretty sure OEM 2055 pistons are NLA, but can't check here from home. I'll follow up and let you know. Assuming the overseas ones are aftermarket?

What's frustrating about many of these Jonsered parts is that Tilton still had a fair amount of stuff in stock at the time they shut down. I don't know who, if anyone, bought that inventory or if anyone is selling it. Little detective work and I could likely find out though. Looks like I got myself a little project this week. :)

I'm pulling for you @Spike60 , it might be a long shot but if you can find out, see if they got a clutch side seal 503 26 02 09. Have the side that ends in 10, the bigger one. I got that small seal on ebay about 1/2 year ago, lucked into it. Much appreciated. Either that or if I could have their phone number to talk to them directly.
I dont know if its aftermarket or not, all its got is jonsered in the advertisement. It would be sweet if the people who bought it would have some stuff....

New meteor piston in a good used OEM cylinder with rebuilt carb. The only bummer is the heat was removed when the full wrap was installed. All for $450 to my door. Good deal?8A1DADB3-F36A-4591-BA4E-A0213C5A0960.png
