Just wondering are the Jonsered 2188 and Husky 390xp the same saw? Didn't know if the port timing was different or any other difference other than the plastic I'm in the market to get one or the other and eventually have a pop up and port work done on it and just wanted to do my research first. Thanks ahead of time for any input.

I've got a heated handle 390 here I'll be selling soon. I do have to put a new crank in it. I hope to get to it early this week.

Can you please price it high enough that I don't find a way to justify my first "hottie"
And don't try that "oh I'll just port it fer ya" stuff on me....it just won't work this time...
Forget about the "oh here's a few pics" too

Not gonna work

I'm searching for a heated full wrap for it now. I found a half wrap with heat. I guess the previous owner wanted a full wrap over heat. I'm trying to justify it to myself since I have an ugly 390 case and tank here already. I have 385 and 390 jugs for this one too.

I have too many 385s already....

gettimg back to the OP.. To me the difference is the angle of the handles. The Jonny seems to look "boxy" and the handle is straight across. Strangely I have a 372 with a Jonny red tank and handle and it is a very comfortable saw....even if it is a bastardization.

Oh and if you have any love for a 372 then a 385/90- 2186/88 will really fire you up. Great saws they are.
