View attachment 283786 This was a couple weeks ago. I don’t have any other blends. Just grandmas old recipe But yeah I’m down to the last two hogs. The pictures of the whole hogs might creep someone out so I won’t post those. But maybe after extensive processing I’ll add them

I've just been winging it with different mixes so nothing "fancy" just whatever I grab.
I like that stuff you got. I'm just using the mixer attachment with a nozzle.

I've also got a piece of beef dry aging. First time trying it. I usually just cure meat.

I watched that video because you know kinda like a train wreck. Sure talked a lot of *s-word on it doesn’t matter if he deleted it enough people here saw it and remember what was said. Was really holding back at the beginning hoping he would come to his senses and accept the responsibility. Guess no hope him spouting his mouth about who expects a warranty on a used saw blah blah. Well the guy who gave him over a grand for a ported work saw expected a warranty just like anyone else would expect the saw builder to stand behind his work. Far as I’m concerned he knew exactly what he did, he did it on purpose, was pissed he got caught because he never intend on anyone seeing the inside of the saw before it blew up snd with a stock port profile good luck proving he used a crap cylinder second time around after the aftermarket one. Far as I’m concerned him and pot metal pony can go into business and stroke each other’s egos.

Thanks. It was gramps’ stuffer. We used to kill 7 or so hogs a year. It’s crazy doing it today because you gotta remember stuff from years ago when us guys were lil boys. Them Ol timers are all gone now. Making pots of scrapple stirring it with boat oars. My grandma still knows what’s happening but she’s the last one living. She’s in her late 80s now. The cast iron pots take two men to move. I’ll try to get some pictures of this stuff.

What I want to know if who would let somebody run a chainsaw, with a any handle on the clutch side, with the small Stihl clutch cover. That’s asking for finger damage.

Also, John’s definition of a “tall” tree is... Interesting.

A lot of people have said that maybe he couldn't afford to pay the refund.

But.....which is more important, a few dollars, or a reputation?

Before I would let someone be a dissatisfied customer, I would sell one of my favorite saws to raise the money to cover the cost. I absolutely know this, because I've done it. I can't imagine anyone not doing the same thing.
Yup.
Or pawn it if the cash in needed immediately. Everyone has a pawn shop to hit up if you don't you need a new micro business plan but that's just my opinion.
Is it just my eyes or is that roof flat as can be even with a dip down in the center?
Does not matter. Only the area near the plating matters. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That post was me, Kim! John is with me in this "last" post. After this we will not be contributing to this feed any further.

Ken, if you want to resolve, just text John and he is happy to call you and WILL resolve "without an army"!! He looks forward to making this right with YOU!

Hold the popcorn[emoji897]!!! As a last post, just sayin'

That was weird but answer this...
Why does every piston I see from JR shop have scratched up pistons?

It is not normal but wtf do I know about a race saw right?
This certainly got very weird, like David lynch weird.
Put this guy on the good guy list.
I edited Ken's post a little.....

Got a little out of bounds.

Ok.....so Kim replied for John, which was weird as a mfer, but whatever.

Has anyone got anything worthwhile to add?
Edit, wtf you suck
See above
Stuff like this pushed me to get away from saws except as a tool
Stuff like this drives me more to open a shop again. Plenty of good customers out there with hard earned coin waiting for quality tools. I always see and opportunity and that never fails me even if my work or the business does. Until you had your business dry up and vaporize in 08' - 2010'... I was glad I could still go back to climbing but that was taken away due to health reason but I got it back... nuff about me. This is Johns thread.
Google ,Eraser Head or Blue velvet, Blue velvet actually a very good movie.

I’m gonna let my Mommy respond for me here if one of my sales ever gets criticized.

I’m trying to up the anté on the weirdest fućking thread I’ve yet to see here.

I fully agree that this should be settled between the 2 people involved, but it wasn’t. The two stories about the transaction are completely incongruent.

I don’t see how KW had any recourse left but to besmirch JR’s reputation for not doing the right thing. JR stopped returning calls or messages, so what other choice did KW have? Sit and wait for how long?

I’ve had saws go bad, thankfully things went a different way. Eating shít isn’t so fun at all, but sometimes necessary.

Does this thread/ransom go away if and when John pays up?

This thread wins the biggest WTF of the year award, and it’s only February.
Meh... I'm only on page fifteen. It might improve. I'll read it twice to be sure instead of working on those transfer ports we talked about.

I think things like this are going to continue more and more and not just here. Ebay sellers I have been buying parts from for a long time, lately have decided to just not give a fuk. Humans have forgot how to be decent and doesn't look like its going to change.
*s-word went right buy you.
This just tighten things up a bit was all that happened from my seat over here in the peanut gallery.

Bubba tries to blow up my 064 pipe saw pretty regularly. Once him and his buddies had one of my best chains on it cutting dirty oak logs with it. I'd say they ran a couple of tanks thru it before I stopped them. Damn kids. LOL
Lol they are just testin chit
I just whacked two this morning. Gotta cut them up in the morning
The best part of this thread, bacon.
I've been making sausage like crazy. Mis ordered a processor pack of casings . I think Sunday I'm going to give making salami a try.
Second best part sausages

In all honesty, I am kinda rooting for John. Now before a the key board warriors get to mashing this keyboard screens. Hear me out. I usually root for the bad guy in most cases. Why? I want them to become a better person from their wrong. Not all *f-word ups, stay that way. I'm proof. Took some years away from me to learn that. In those years I also learned to never say you're sorry. Kids say sorry. Why, because they're gonna do it again. UNTIL they become a man or woman. (or whatever 23 possibility of choices there are now) A Man will apologize because he understands his wrong doing and Makes strives to NEVER DO IT AGAIN. A sorry person is just that sorry. Sorry for their behavior but never willing to change. Eating your own shiit sucks. Eating someone else's shiit is is worse. And I would never expect another man to do that sitting down. I feel for you Ken. I'm glad it's not me! With flights being soo cheap right now, like a $100 round trip. I would've flown down gotten my money back in hours or he would porting saw with one working hand and another smashed so bad, that he couldn't wipe his own ass with it.
Always the optimist.

You'll grow out of it if your lucky. Just hire a local handyman it's easier.

Pot metal pony makes me raff.
I missed the video... so sad.

You're the old timer now, so you gotta keep them traditions going.

Your right JJ
They should start a new pork thread.

My work is done here... I'm on Dave's side. Pick a Dave.

Heard they got good Dave's here.
Just get a Dave to cover it.

If you have skinny legs, you cant grind a hole, you don't know where else to turn... and you can find them, get a Dave from OPE ;-)

No interpreter require!
Damn that tasted good :p

So many bad actors, and nobody dares trust anybody anymore.

I'm gonna make an offer here for any OPE member:

Any work you want done, send me $100.

You don't have to ship the saw, 'cause I'm not gonna do the work anyway. You're only out $100, and you still have your saw, undamaged.

I'm thinking this is a better than average deal these days.

PayPal f&f only.
