I had the mains and secondaries reversed......fixed that.

I think with the increase in intake duration you can put the increased bd to good use.

I just ported my first 346,it is changing how I look at small saws. Damn little husky is fast

I think with the increase in intake duration you can put the increased bd to good use.

Yeah.....spot on. Higher transfers need short intake duration to build case pressure. If not, exhaust pressure overcomes the transfer charge. I'm seeing some real power increases with longer blowdown in the quad port saws.

So instead of epoxying the intake back up, increase blowdown to use it?

you got to get out and do some more "manual labor" big guy....too much mani-pedicure time for you at the office. maybe develop some calluses.

Precisely my problem.
I tip my hat to all you guys out in the woods daily.! I run saws on the weekend to clear my head of desk job BS. My work is really cool but I would be in the woods now if I could. Once kids are out of the house my priorities they are a gonna change!

Yeah, but these saws are being sold new, with a warranty. No telling who will get them, or how they will be treated.
