It's doing that lean surge at the end of the cut. I think you are spot on with that observation!

Kevin pointed this out to me Tuesday while he was here. If the saw is lean, after a long cut it seems to do a little surge when you pull out of the cut.

I usually pull the limiter even before I do a muff mod. I would not run it lean like that.

For the Hi screw, after you screw in a sheet rock screw a bit, rotate it all the way counter clockwise and pull, the tab should be aligned. On the low screw, you just go counter clock wise about 1/4 turn to line up the tab. I have the best luck with the 2" screws with the fine thread. The box says "6X2". I think they are a little thinner than the course thread screws that I have.

The limiters are defeated now, seems to be 4 stroking strong at 15 now. It needed quite a bit of low. Weed whacking now. Just stopped to fuel up. Once I finish I'll run her in some wood again!
