I REALLY need to get one to you. I bought one for work first to make sure it will hold up, lol. I bought myself one last week. I just need to come up with the dough to pay for the banana stuffing. I’m really considering selling my MMWS 362 to fund it, but that would screw up my 50, 60, 70, 76, 95 CC saw plan, lol. The 462 just doesn’t weigh much more than the 362 and has more power.

I'm just thinking it may be possible to find some gains in the air flow Volume/path/timing. Even if it weren't stabbing around in the dark on customers saws it probably wouldn't be a cost/time effective power gain. Now for us dummies who are always stabbing around in the dark...

I have an idea for one of these and it has nothing to do with a circle crank. It doesn't matter though. Not looking to stir the pot. It is pretty obvious though you guys have zero interest in anything coming from me.

Try looking at it from our point of view. We've all seen you post wild ass stuff.....yet never a single post about a damn thing you've actually done. The guys I run with call that talking outta your ass. Lets see some of that wild ass stuff you've built. Or......step back and watch.

I just dropped, bucked and limbed a 20" Red Maple today and (ironically) the two saws I used were my MMWS 462 w/20" light bar and my MMWS 261 Ver II with 18" 3/8.

Love that light 261 for the limbing and smaller bucking, and on the felling and bucking the trunk your 462 was eating through it like it was paper Mache!

I've also got another 462 ported by Doc with a 24" B+C.

These have become my 3 favorite saws. They are light, strong, fast, very smooth and require a lot less air filter maintenance than my other saws.

I also appreciate that I can go from my house (at about 500') to my Cabin (at about 2,000') and I don't need to bring a tuning screw driver with me!

The decomps make warm re-starts effortless.

These saws are spoiling me, and starting to make my other saws look like Neanderthals!

Thanks!!!

How does the 462 compare to the 044?
