I think i paid 5-600 for my silvey used on ebay a few years ago ,it owes me nothing now as many sharpenings as i have done with it .
Ive been looking online for them and can't findthem under 900.

So Amazon has Spoiled me, when ever i order from ANY where else it's always like, UGH, FOUR DAYS to deliver.... but yeah Baileys shipped my order but it wont get here until Monday...

Not trying to be an ass, but you should've got 2 of each, I went thru 1 file converting 2 16" chains from round to square, might have just been me and my technique, might be save edge wasn't made for the hacksawing job I did?



There's where I got mine, delivered the next day!
If you're rough on them they won't last. I've filed a dozen chains with one vallorbe

from what i've seen and read i should file into the tooth and pressure only on the forward stroke? ( i still haven't recieved my files yet so this is just for chits and Giggles)
That's how I do it. The steadier you can keep the tooth the better your results will be
