A little bit of grease will keep it from pinching.Found a leak around the intake boot on one of my 346’s today, right about where the partition squeezes together. Has the usual husky clamp.
I was curious if anyone applies any sealant or something in this area when rebuilding. Maybe a better clamp?

I saw your post in another thread this. Great mod idea, hope to try this on some pliers myselfI don't use grease on the bellows, as mentioned above, spending time on the bellows and the partition wall so that it is installed all the way down without damaging the nipple is the key.
And have a good pair of pliers to squeeze the clamp so that it comes on without twisting the partition wall.
