I am most interested in hearing it with a muffler mod at this point.Muffler needs to be gutted.

I have a new info from a friend on the 500i, he was on a forestry fair in munich today (he also made the pic's of the filtration i'd posted before) and he talked to a Stihl technician at their stall,
he said Stihl recommends to push the primer pump on the 500i up to 8x times before every start of the saw, because you have build up pressure for the injection system, otherwise it can be difficult to start the saw.

Cold start is the choke. It has a choke butterflyI'm not familiar with a 462, but none of the M Tron saws officially have a "choke". Generally they just have "Start", "Run" and "Off".
There are times when High Idle would be nice.
Also, "Start" is for cold start, warm starts should be done in "Run".
