cant say I have ever had a logger/tree guy even ask about weight, they know the CC/HP range they are looking for and the only other thing they care about is price.

Don't go tellin' it like it actually is.

Tree Service guys are gonna love how light the 462 is....

One of my local tree service guys, who owns the company and often is the one working out of the bucket, has tendentious in his elbow and much prefers using a ported 10 mm 044 instead of a 460.

I'll bet he would like a 462 even more (or at least just as much).

Some people may not care about weight, others do.

In regards to the weights of saws, are you trying to insinuate that on your lively, spirited lunch breaks you guys don’t spend the whole time doing this.....

What size is the bar? I personally don't care for the tip of the bar to tap the ground hard when I pick it up. However that's pretty much the norm with any bar over 84dl, well at least until you get into the 90cc saws. The 441 was a bad offender in this respect.

A 461 with a 32” ES Light isn’t bad.

The light bars make a big difference. I used to be a short bar guy, my tune had changed. I'm even going to give a wrap handle or two a try. Yeh the world is ending.

There have been several times a wrap handle would have made things much easier. Walking back and forth around a stump on a hill is just stupid IMHO. And the older I get, limbing and even bucking from the vertical position is just easier.

Would it make it past customs?

Would customs know what they are looking at? I’ve never shipped a saw across any borders but it’s been done plenty. Has anyone had a saw seized?
