I do wish they chose to use the larger, stronger 6203 bearings in the 462 that they are in the 572 I believe.

I've not seen the bottom end to be an issue on either the 460 or 461. Does the 462 have a smaller bearing? If not, I see this as a non-issue. I'd rather keep the 462 light.

There using 6202’s I believe. @mdavlee reported some issues the 460’s were having with the bearings I think but I’ll let him comment.

It is possible the 462 has a very light rotating assembly, so the heavier bearings were not needed. Lots of possible variables.

Huskies have more alphabet variations than I can keep track of. Can't count the # of time folks have told me a 372 is almost as light as an 044.

It is obvious they needed a larger bearing because they build a heavier saw! Light weight parts are expensive!
