Correction ... 362 ver I and 562 are same weight, 362 Ver II is a good deal lighter.

Mason, your 562 looks strong with the muff mod, but stock it did not run with my ported 362.

I disagree :D guess we’ll have to solve this at the next gtg.... I’ll be sure to run your chain in the dirt when your not looking :).

I believe they recently had both versions of the 261 and 362 avail here. I was surprised they did that (after they went to Ver II for each of them).

Just checked the Stihl USA web site and it shows both M Tronic and non M Tronic versions of the 261 and 362. Those seem to be the only 2 pro saws that allow you to make that choice.

I think the 462 will be a good saw I just don't think we will be still using it in 20-30 years. For that matter none of the auto tune saws IMO
From what I can tell, I totally agree. At least when it comes to the Husqvarna AT saws, the Stihl's may stick around awhile.
