Another point....

How many people have asked me if I could get a 572XP? Zero. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

I've lost track of requests for the MS462, and I have three here right now.

That's because you didn't post an after video of the 572... just left us all hanging.

I'm not sure at this point. It's more a matter of principle than anything else. If there's a problem with the saw, and I ported it, I'm sorta married to it. Going by their current track record......I don't really want to be married to a saw that I can't get firmware patches for.
I get that. Totally!

I hate it seems that way to you. I'm simply reporting exactly what I see on my bench. I do ten times more new Stihl saws than Husqvarnas, and have yet to tear a single one down and find these sort of issues.

I did pull an MS362 apart once to find a rough bevel on the strato port scratching the piston.

One saw.....

Since I started porting saws, I've done about 2000 saws. So, it's safe to say that I've likely torn down more new saws than anyone you know. If not, direct me to them, I'd like to compare notes.
Thats why other than my tree90 and the 394 that I just got together and runs like a raped ape. All me udder hooskies are 2series saws.
IMHO they were da best of da best, SIR...

Ms 462 is gonna kill the 562 any ways. Too close in weight and mo’powah.

Point was saws are mechanical, so there is going to be issues, no company is exempt from putting out a product that is less then perfect, as I said before, buy what you like, die hard Stihl guys gonna buy Stihls, same for the husky guys. At the end of the day it's your money, spend it how you like.
I do. On old junk worn out swedes. Then the old hoosky dealer n me bring em back as good as new.

To recap.

Out of the last batch of brand new AT Huskys I did. Two needed new carbs before they would run.

Out of six 372s I just did, four had the intake boots folded under the carb.

Now, I have three more ATs on the bench, and this one is missing two out of eight transfer cover screws.

Now, rather than say.....well, it will run like that, maybe it's time for Husqvarna to admit that they are having a QC failure.
I hate to say it, but the 661 switched me from putting 50+hours a week on a Stihl. To 50+ on a 390xp. Wont go back unless stihl brings the 660 back. Which will never happen.

I know you Colton. You work your saws. Hopefully they get the 661 squared away so it works for you.

I've sold a hell of a lot of them, just know of one failure so far. But, you aren't the only one who is unhappy with them, so there has to be something to it.

A good assembly line should provide the tech with ONLY the parts needed for his part of the installation. Having other parts in front of him that are not required is not smart as its very possible they'll find a place to put them. Likewise, the tech should use every part in each pack/tray so there's no confusion. This stuff is not rocket science, Husky needs to get their priorities straight, push back on the bean counters & decide that investing in a quality assembly plant with proper procedures is money well spent. What there doing at present is damaging the brand.
