Hi All
Any Beaver Experts? I have Ser # 1232 that i am trying to bring back to life.
I need a reed vale for sure.A Manual would be nice.
It was seized i have it all apart now,the reed valve kept enough of the water out so the bearings are good.Managed to get the piston out with out damaging it or the rings. The cylinder and reed valve plate have some pitting.
Anyone have a stash of parts for these,or parts for the IEL AB may be the same.
Thanks Thomas
@ray benson might be able to help with manuals. @Basher might be able to steer you in the right direction for parts for the older saws like that.

Start at 1.25 turns and go from there.

There's a bit of sketchy info around on what happened to Pioneer back in the '80's. I've read a couple of spins on it but a look at this starting on page 14 gives a fair description of what happened.

I recently traded for two Pioneers, a P41 and a 1200A. I got two 20" bars, both Pioneer brand. I really want to put a 24" on the P41 but I am having trouble figuring out what mount type I need. Can anyone help? Anyone got one laying around?

It's a d007 mount, but a d009 can be made to fit by opening the slot a little bit. The oil hole will line up no problem. The p41 is a great saw.

Thanks! I was looking at D196 bars because it looked like they fit the Poulan 455/655 and I thought they might interchange. But this is much better information!

The d196 will work as well. The 455/655 is the same mount.
