i had a outboard clutch blew apart on one of the saws i was working on once and there was no clutch cover on the saw and one part hit me in the balls and the other part went god only knows where. Lets just say i will never do that again.

I spun one off for the first time a few months ago on a 357. Took the saw outside to run all the gas out before shipping. Just glad I had another saw I could steal the bearing from, it didn't survive the trip.

Had that happen on a husky 136. Piss reved it a few times and parts went flying across the shop. Never found one clutch weight. Oh well it was cool while it lasted

I spun the clutch and drum off a Mac 650 gear drive .Now that's a reduction saw with one of the gears on the end of the clutch drum .It spun off, ran 50 feet down my drive way and never came apart, lucky .

The funniest was spinning the string head off a weedwacker that ran the entire length of my 500 foot driveway and off into a soybean field to the north at about 100 MPH .Never found it .It might have went all the way to Canada as far as I know .

You can always justify another saw.

Never lost a clutch, but did pull the one off my 441 do to a strange squealing noise I couldn't locate. If I had just put a wrench on the spark plug it would have saved some work. I got distracted and didn't tighten the plug when I changed it.
