I was hoping for a 90cc but I'm curious what bar this 70cc will balance with, oil and run. A 24 on a 562 with the large dogs is just perfect for me and I run 28s on 372s a 32 is just to unbalanced on a 372 for me to run daily so will this new 70cc handle a 32 and take the place of a 390 with a 32?? I think their is a good chance.

Yes, it's a 70cc class saw. The bigger one is coming later.

I'm glad these things will be out before too long cause I don't want to go all the way down to Randy's in October just to watch a bunch of Chinese Stihls. :)

Oh, I think there will be plenty of entertainment value in that, bring a helmet and a flak vest. Lol

Bob, that sounds like a clue to the timeline for release. So we should be seeing these before October GTG!

I'm actually a little depressed to see the good ol 300 series saws slowly being phased out. I'm forever a tinkerer and AT saws obviously aren't as tinkerer friendly.. LOL!

Of course the other half of me anxiously awaits this new 70cc Husky and how it performs.

Converting to regular carb will give you plenty to tinker

Yeah, that's what it looks like. They wouldn't be starting this countdown thing in June if the saws weren't going to follow reasonably soon after that. I already told my rep that as soon as the product codes go live I want 30 regular's and 10 XPG's.

The other question is how long does the 372 stay in production and how many should I load up on. I did that with 346's, and the XPW's. But at some point you sell the last one, so does it really matter when that is?

Hopefully this new saw replaces the 372 better than the 441's replacement of the 044/440...if it doesn't then I'd say buy all the 372s you can.

The 5 series hasn't looked great so far to me. I had a 562 and loved it but they are build like children's toys
I like auto tune saws, especially ported. A little peace of mind for those who aren't great tuners and don't want to lunch their new ported saws.

Not the looks I'm worried about its durability which the 5 series has not been known for. Performance wise the 562 is a blast to run.
Only thing I've had to do to our 562 is a couple mounts (the owner is a gorilla), filters and plugs. But I hear you, they aren't exactly famous for staying together. Sounds like a country song lol

Troof! Just hate to see them do that to the 395. They have a great bottom end which it seems they are having problems producing with newer saws

Bob, what is the price between 372XP and 372 XPG over there?

I think they are in the neighborhood of $70 difference to get a "G" saw.
