Husqvarna 560xp mk2 - Thoughts?

Hi Lads,

I’m looking into the 560xp Mk2 to update my main saw.
I love my 560 Mk1 but I’m hoping to get my hands on a new one and I’m choosing between the Mk1 again or a Mk2.

Has anyone laid hands on one? They’re supposed to be lighter, which is a big deal to me, but I’ll stick with a new Mk1 if need be.

The world is a scary place these days, I hope all is well in your corner of it.

Dial up @Crocky28 for a ported 50cc. All of the power without the weight

I haven't fired up my MKII 562, but the ported 550 MKII feels as strong as a stock 562. Ive buried it (18") in half-dead white oak at 24-26"+ dia. Knots slowed it down a little, but I really had to push on it to get it to bog at all.

550mk2 torque monster from @Stump Shot Steve on a 20" in 5 year dry hardwood, 7/32 file, full bar length, knot cuts and crosscuts don't bog down one bit. Just a lot of fun from a very small package. Partial throttle, she don't want to fall flat on its face.

O and the world famous easy peazy start/restart goes a long way.
