Everyone give me crap about my bench....ya ya ya.... I have my nice new bench in the shed which is a slab of wood wood 3" milled. just the shed isn't setup as well as my basement. I can stand in one spot and have everything I need depends on where I turn....one day my shop will move out of the basement and into the shed. for now....I'm stuck :(

Glad everyone likes the vid though

One other thing that will make it alil easier getting the bearings off is to tap a broad chisel in behind the bearing will give alil room behind the bearing for the puller to get a bite

I've used the same 1" chisel for years to take bearing off the crank,it's got the perfect taper.
One of those tools a guy would be lost without. Hard to find an exact replacement

A regular two jaw puller works well to pull the bearings off the crank. A little heat helps especially when there's a brass oil pump gear to pull off along with the bearing.

Great vid as usual Matty.
