Nice!! I finally got the bearings and crank back in mine and got the case halves back together. I still need to source a piston (Duke's is out right now :( ) and a Red Beard Air filter (I have the v-stack already). I am sure There might be a part or two I might still need, but won't realize it until I get back to that part of the build. I also just recently modified my fuel tank front end to allow for the dog assembly to mount to it properly. I can't wait to get it fired up!
I have some extra pts for these so let me know what you’re missing.

Just buy a generic Uni filter, that's all I've ever run on mine. Plus, it's only ~$15

Even better, I like that idea!!!

I will keep that in mind....it has been a challenge to collect all I was missing so far!

My 2100 has a different muffler than has been pictured .At the moment these two bull headed SOB's won't start 2100-CD and 281 XP .Both have spark both with rebuilt carbs .I ordered three complete rebuild kits for the carbs that contain the welch plugs .I'm going to give it a go just one more time then those SOB's will go on the shelf .I've never had this much trouble on any brand or model of same in my life time .I've worked on .restored and modified a lot of chainsaw but if I don't get these things running I'll never own another Husqvarna in my life time .I'm just about ready to do a Jessee James on these things with an 8 pound sledge hammer .

Rebuilt a 2101 brake cover and fabled an outer spike. Had to remake a small pt. Still need to do a little mag repair...
This newer style takes the brake band that a company in Ireland makes. I've used them on 2xx saws that have the metal flag.
I have two of the early style covers with oe bands but need all the top hardware :p
If anyone has that hardware and wants to part with it...😁
