Could you not take a regular 10mm adapter and drill and tap the end to accept a schrader valve? Just thinking out loud here.

I've got a Snap On 10mm hose with a valve in the end....but it seems too low on every saw I've tested with it.

I'm gonna see if my Stihl dealer can hook me up with a Stihl gauge.

Do you have another schrader valve to replace it with?
They do go bad, and a tire valve wont work. I have a bunch in my Snap-on kit and can send you one if you want to see if it makes a difference.

You can check it with a rubber tipped air nozzle from your air compressor. Should read the same.

@huskyboy Do you have to do anything with the tops.
Also curious if you are chopping for a skidder or forwarder.
Most of the time we top the tree in the woods and cut it to below 5-6ft in height or just run it over with the skidder. Sometimes we get some 20-24ft firewood logs out of a big top. We try to leave the place not looking like a war zone like some people do. He has a forwarder but we’re not using it on this job now.

I guess with a 20" light bar I should just turn my oiler down a bit! I know the saw will pull more, but I love the way it handles with the 20" light.

In conjunction with the throttle response, it is a pleasure to limb and buck with.
