A bit stressful today...just turned in my work van and quit the job I have been at for near 10 years as an electrician. With the economy as it is around here...work had been slow. Time to travel, and get some hours under my belt

All done work now, sitting at swimming lessons with my son then going home to shovel snow. This was a picture I took on our way to swimming. It actually got worse a few minutes after I took this picimage.jpg

Overall a decent day. Car started in the frigid cold and I worked inside all day. Of course dealing with the 3 yr old at bedtime is always fun ( insert sarcasm smiley here)

Damn Man. I'm in a bit different boat, but I do understand. I'm in A.F. Intel and the Cliff notes version is that it's my job is to get timely warning out to the good guy so the bad guys don't catch them off guard and kill them and to help find lost good guys. The good days are awesome. The bad days are usually on the news anywhere from 2-48hrs later. The hardest part is not being able to talk to my Wife of Dad about the bad days and knowing that despite your best efforts someone's family member(s) (who you'll never personally know) will be coming home in a box. Those are the bad days.

Trying to make sense of these nonsensical "conflicts" is the hardest part as there is a difference between dying for something and dying for nothing.

On brighter news, I either lost some glow plugs or my glow plug relay on my 7.3PSD so it decided not to start this am... This truck has a lot in common w/my 9010...
