The way I was told is- more cc, less voodoo. Less cc, more voodoo. A 3 cube isn't very big, so it needs more done to it
Close and a good explaination. However, a lot of variables to consider. Wood type and what saw, how is it ported? How does the operator run the saw? To further the topic, you don't put a 4 bottom plow on a 30 hp tractor or a single bottom plow a 100 hp tractor. Make sense? You grinding or filing? I'm told you can slap a chai on a grinder and in 20 minutes or less make a fast chain. Just buy a grinder and you are set. Easy peash. But then if filed properly results can vary. Best advice I can give is make at least 5 chains and try what works and study the witchcraft. Don't give up and keep at it. One day, the results will show. I'm currently still looking for the that one day.
