No , you already understand the Universal language of saws.Do I need to learn French first?
That's interesting. since it's a stihl chain, one would think it's a stihl file?no?Just to bump this thread and throw something else in the mix. Has anyone tried this file yet? Shows October 2021 as an available date. So should be hitting the market soon. I wonder who makes these files?
Almost looks like a completely different cutter design.
Nice new style with a baby bumper chain. LOL...

I know Pfed produced the 2in1 filing jig so they have a history working with Stihl but here in OZ Stihl files are made by Vallorbe. Round, flat & chisel bit.Likely pferd, as they produce stihl's other files. No sense in it imo, you want a fast chain use square, if its not that important to you run round filed, easier than square to file but we'll see on how effective it is.
Thank you for the link. I missed it with the beat down going on.Related thread for more info:

Definitely lasts longer before getting dull enough to pitch into the bin, clogging is eliminated by slappin the tip of the file against sumtin solid after every other stroke or twoDo you notice the file clogging up any more vs. Going from the outside in?
