Yeah that's what I meant. I'm all fugged up. LolNoooooo!!!!
Don’t get rid of the forward lean...
You need some forward lean..
Your’s is leaning backwards,, need to get rid of that..
You got some side beak, which will make it feel like it wants to feed at first, but it won’t last.
And it won’t cut fast or efficiently.
I can try that too. I kinda like mine clamped in the center but maybe that'll help hold the angle. Like filing over the top of the saw?Think he prolly just said it assbackwards Matt. This is how I mount my vise DJ. It allows me to really see. May or may not work for you.View attachment 156254
As far as feed at first, no..Does lean matter when its beaked?
Showoff.Hit some schnit the other day too. Had to freshen up the chain on the 34 again

Hey,Sup Anferknee
Just did a couple, if I point the file at the rivet directly behind the cutter it seems to be the proper angle to get some forward lean.Have to rotate the file towards the inside. The chain a touch more to get forward lean
Shoulda stayed up and finished it. Really couldn't sleep without wifey being home anyway. Now ya gotta finish the chain
Put down the dent puller and grab a file lol. You will get the chain the way you like it.Shoulda stayed up and finished it. Really couldn't sleep without wifey being home anyway.
