I can file it on the bar on a log, sometimes it’s easier without play though. But either way I believe I have finally found my square grinder. Working out some details :-)
Which one did you find?

Either of you gentleman have any Thoughts on Simington 451b?
I've got the early 450 and it could use some more adjustment for most ppl but I grind only 3/8 for myself and only work chains. So it works well the 451b is a good machine with more adjustablilty than mine. You be happy for sure!

Not to much right now just work chains. That could change in the future. I’ll be doing 3/8 and .325 with it. About the only thing I use semi on anymore is dead hardwoods mostly liveoak.

What I’m getting at is a swingarm isn’t as precise as what one may want, they work in getting started but all grinders need fine adjustments.
