How to braze a deflector on a muffler

Thanks Duane, it really is that easy.
Master this and you’ll soon be able to braze turds to a tree.

Don’t forget the brazing flux.
Soldering flux will not work.

I'm looking on Amazon for silver solder and I'm not sure which one to get, what should I be looking for? This is the only one I could find that was 75%, very expensive.

Harris stay-silv 45 is what I use, don’t know anything about that 75 stuffs.

Yup, that’s it.
Now find Harris white brazing flux and you’re good to go.

It’s all about atmospheric pressure Doc.

Dave....have you tried that on a stainless steel muffler.....like an MS261?
