Don't worry sonny my Daddy worked me hard on the family farm and by the time I was 16 I started a 20 year falling career on a 2 man cut and skid crew. Put up alot more wood then the old timers could ever dream of and that was running the saw in 2 feet of snow at 30 below F and a few months later in the 90's with 90% humidity.
No i dropped her from 20 ft into them

Did I ever tell you guys about the 35 redwood trees I fell/bucked when i was 7 months old ?
I'm thinking the same thing, these saws are about the cheapest piece of equipment you can buy.![]()
any of you yahoos have any idea what this saw cost new?
you think $1000 for a saw is high priced today?
We should quit our bichin...aye?in the 50's a saw was like half the price of a car. so like around $6000 today.
Lol @ city boy commentHere I'll show you city boys how to clean a air filter at the end of the day right at the stump.
Takes less then 2 minutes and no compressed air needed.
Take your empty zip lock sandwich bag from lunch pour a little fuel mix in it with your nylon mesh filter.
Seal it up and shake for 10 seconds, stick the filter back on the saw. Ready for next morning.
Save the gas in bag to start the lunch shack wood stove the next morning .
Mid week bring your saw into camp and blow out the airbox and cylinder at the saw shack.
