Was walking my dog on Saturday and this dog joined us and followed us about 30-40 minutes all the way home. Took him to the dog pound on Monday. He was cool. It’s amazing how quickly you get attached. I got choked up leaving him:

They probably gassed him already..

They’re not a kill facility due to lack of space. They only put the animals down if they are injured, sick, or have a behavioral problem. I wouldn’t have left him if they were.
