Anyone here have a saw done by Jack recently that can give some feedback? Looks like he hasn’t been active on YouTube much anymore. Is he still porting saws?

You will be better off choosing someone here from the OPE family.

Too many past threads in the main chainsaw forum about fixing bad brake jobs and tales of caution once you step outside the OPE eco system.

Every dollar spent here was well worth it for me. I have yet to have anything go belly up.

That is the sign of due dilligence from the community we have here.

Think you meant to say “top of the morning to ya” and “have a blessed day wherever you might be on God’s green earth”
That works too. I hear nothing but good things about the porters here on the forum and the good work they do. I have had good purchases here (minor stuff, parts and older saws). My last road trip I made the effort to visit a member here, well worth it!

I was just quoting his entry and exit lines to every video he ever posts on YouTube haha

We will be running a ms 461 with the psycho ss zip kit and the flow enhancement trick I know about
Yeah flow tricks. He uses very vague lingo to try to keep everything secret. Example: “SS” seems to mean combustion chamber work (squish band).

It’s crazy that nobody has actually popped a jug off one of his saws and posted pics online.
Im thinking that anyone who knows some stuff about saws will fail his preliminary screening questions. My guess is, if he gets the feeling you know too much about saws when he’s talking to you, it’s a red flag for him because he’s assuming you’re going to tear into that saw at some level at some point. But I do find It interesting that in the 20+ years he’s been porting saws, no one on here or any other forum has come across one of his saws in a second hand purchase.

This is us BTW. We have been building saws full time since 2008.

I've got one of this dudes creations - she bites & kicks, gotta hold onto to her really good.

I also own a stock version of said saw, she is tame in comparison.

Kevin @huskihl also stuffs Xtra Sausages well into saws.

I got my EA5000 XS done by him, then had her shipped US>US>Greece>Croatia.

My MMWS6100 pulling a mildly tinkered with chain, simple round grind though.

This is no "speedwood"!
Semi seasoned possibly partially frozen Turkey oak.
Any softer and less dense wood species results in noticeably faster cuts.
