Got this XL-123 as a project saw. Replaced what was needed so it’s good for another 50 years. Nice running saw.

Thanks. It was well used but maintained to keep it going. I was able to find all the parts I needed to replace what was worn. Of course, as with all my projects, I spent more than the saw is worth but it’s worth it to me. They are good saws.Nice score. You don't see too many of the 123's around. Looks to be in great condition as well.

It has points. There’s an XL-76 on eBay about an hour from where I grew up in Michigan. Didn’t sell at $99.00 & was re-listed. Fair price IMO.Very similar to the Canadian XL-76. A few small differences. The only major one is the decomp on the 123.
The 76 is very popular here and are very common.
What type of ignition does yours have?

Would a full wrap from a 130 fit the 123? Probably never find one but it’d be cool.
Cool! I’ve been wanting an XL-102.I was looking through some of my very old pictures of saws, and at that time in my main shed I noticed I had an XL 123 show in the upper right corner of the image. Made me go dig through my back storage shed a few days back to see if it was still around. Sure enough I found it and a Xl 102. Plan to get both going again in the near future....View attachment 411307
Nice. I want a 500 one day.I picked up this XL-500 from a fellow Homelite enthusiast in Oregon last month. He sent the saw with it's 24 in.bar & chain in a wooden crate that he made especially for this saw,the put the crate in a cardboard box.It was well made & well thought out.I fueled it up part way yesterday & put the bar & chain on & fired it up.The saw has a bit of a "bite" to it when pulling it over.It runs great & has fantastic compression. This is a 74cc engine on an XL-12 chassis.
Very cool.......Lombard's XL12 copy saw did something similar by adding the seldom seen 5.1ci versions Lightening IV and V, and the GLP 500, 500a, also at 5.1ci is the Super lightening AV. One not shown on Mikes site is a Super 51 which were also 5.1ci rather than the very common 4.2ci versions. I snagged a GLP 500 off the bay several years ago, it's still a project on my very back burner....lol....Pic of a GLP 500 on Mike's site and a pic of a Super 51.I picked up this XL-500 from a fellow Homelite enthusiast in Oregon last month.
I hope you can find the parts you need for it cuz the 650 & 750 parts are really hard to find.I think I may have a few.Got this yesterday from a member on HOH, great guy, thank you Ron, looking forward to adding it to the collection, it's gonna need some work & parts, but it's gonna be a fun project. Homelite super 650.

I'll need part #s.If the muffler isn't too complex, you may be able to make one,or have someone make one for you. Thanks Ed I appreciate it, so far I need the clutch cover the most, the isolator are missing the metal inserts but i think i can rig something up, and the muffler, this one is intact but kinda roached, I know all are hard to get, if you have anything let me know please, thanks.
