Both of my 3002 mount bars have additional oil holes in them that aren't used by my 880. So I always end up with an oil discharge out the clutch cover - and I'd rather that make it onto the chain instead.

How would you recommend I plug the extra holes? (Keep it clean, guys... :D)

The bars likely are combination 3001/3002 mount bars, that also are meant to fit older saw models with the same stud size, like the 070 and 090.

Combination mounts some times need the excess "options" plugged (or at least shut off with tape)....

Simple just Braze the holes shut with BrCuZn brazing rod .

Thanks for the offer Dave! I think I'm going to try the tape idea... Don't think I want to do anything semi/permanent just yet - I do want an 090 someday.
