I maintain a logging outfits saws that only runs the blue supertech Walmart brand and if your looking for a clean oil it's it.
There spotless inside and oily.
same with a cz400 dirtbike i used to run on valvoline.no build up at all.

don't like motul 800.massive carbon build up in my 357xp with only roughly 6 tanks through it.switching back to belray 2t.
Are you mixing with pump gas?
Ethanol?

I've been burning 800 for 2-3 yrs.
Never seen any deposits, but I'm mixing with VP fuels.

I'm a firm believer that 90% of carbon build up is from additives in pump gas.

90 non ethanol marathon.its weird its even building up in the transfers..i've only seen that in saws than were ran on old stale gas.

You can always justify another saw.

I've ran many, many gallons of Bel-Ray MC-1 through bikes and quads. Never a problem. I've always ran Stihl Ultra in the ope till recently. Got tired of the smell and switched to K2. I'm quite happy with it so far. The best oil is the one you add to the can before gassing your equipment.

I've heard alot of people say that. Never really bothered me other than the smell and seemed a little too smokey.

Both of these oils in the title are too overkill for a saw unless milling full time ,there will be a performance loss in my opinion .
Well one saw is a dedicated milling saw and stumper. (Stihl 056 super) whigh I would like to keep running for the next 10 years. Parts are getting hard to find for them.

Your saws should last forever with the belray or motul ,i ran 32 to 1 milling with h1r ,and my muffler can never got hot enough to burn all the oil dry in it ,so it ran real cool with that oil milling ,i did find in my other power tools like string trimmers etc some of the dirt bike oils would not tune well like oil made for saws did ,my saws seem happier bucking and felling with chainsaw oil though .they are a little sootier in the muffler though .I run 32 to 1 or 40 to 1 normally .

Been running Torco GP7 for a few gallons and the 661 and 7900 like it lol, I have not ran the 441 in a while sadly lol.

Maxima K2 or Klotz R50 are my top 2..... in a few months we will see if Torco moves up to top spot.

Most of these oils are overkill for saws even when ported IMO, which I don't mind.

My next test on oils is going to be 927 Castor at a lower ratio ( 40:1 or 45:1) I ussally run 32:1 but there is some debate about 927 leaving deposits but when I was running it the 441 I had no issues.

I have some Motul 800 Road Racing that may be ran at those ratios as well due to that oil being pretty overkill even for dirtbikes, Road bikes have longer extended RPM pulls.

I'd like to see echo red armor in some kind of test with the more popular oils I switched to it because of availability and price point and have been happy with it.

Yep. The belray took more H than a couple saws could give for me. 800 is so high of a flash point that it doesn't burn completely unless milling. Belray I use for drill bit lube now. 800 I would use in the summer in a saw milling only.
