I will run any oil as long as it is blue .

I've never understood why any oil shouldn't color the gas so you can see that it's mixed. An example is Maxima 927. It's the same color as gas. Is dye that expensive?

Usually it's an injection oil, so it doesn't matter.

Only gripe with Torco is color, even though it is purple it has a strange dark color when mired.

Kind of resembles Yamalube which is an oil that just plain works.

As for color HP2 to me is the best followed by R50, K2, and Motul.


Would like to try some Mobil1 but not at some prices

Yep. That's what the "usually" was for. There are exceptions. And it doesn't make any sense to me either why they all aren't dyed

I admit I didn't read this whole thing...just kinda skimmed...but is this the klotz everyone was getting a boner about a few pages ago? I got it local for about 12 bucks plus the tax today. I can't wait to use it, I hope it's the good stuff so hopefully I can get a boner too
